How Lead Processing Works

When a lead enters Ledly, it goes through a multi-stage processing pipeline:

Lead Received → Validation → Deduplication → Enrichment → Routing → CRM Sync

1. Validation

Leads are validated against your configured rules (email format, required fields, etc.). Invalid leads are rejected with a clear error message.

2. Deduplication

The system checks for duplicate leads using configurable matching criteria (email, phone, name similarity). Duplicates can be rejected, merged, or flagged.

3. Enrichment

Your enrichment rules are applied in priority order. Rules can:

• Set or transform field values
• Calculate derived fields
• Reject leads that don’t meet criteria
• Trigger webhooks for external processing

4. Routing

Leads are routed based on your routing rules, which can assign:

• Default field values
• Specific programs or representatives
• Custom destinations

5. CRM Sync

Finally, leads are synced to your connected CRM (Salesforce, etc.) with the configured field mappings.
